These beautiful wooden treasure chests with flexible ‘living hinge’ lids are ideal for storing jewellery, small treasures and other items. The lid clips closed and also comes with a couple of different shaped 'keys' - although the keys do also hold the lid closed, they are largely decorative. These treasure chests are made from our 3mm thick laser safe MDF and are supplied untreated and unvarnished, perfect for decorating, pyrography, engraving and UV printing.
Our treasure chests are avaiable in two sizes; small and large. The large size also comes with a ring box; 39mm x 39mm x 39mm.
Each treasure chest is supplied with the frame it is cut out from, this frame has two or more 6.3mm holes along one side, these holes are consistent in size and location across all of our laser cut blanks and are incredibly useful when creating a jig for aligning the product when UV printing or engraving.
Both treasures chests are supplied flat packed so do require assembly before use, which is simple enough as no tools or glue are required. Once assembled, the chest is fairly robust - although it should be stressed that this is not a toy.
