Our clear acrylic sheets are genuine Perspex; arguably the best acrylic on the market. Acrylic plastic is a strong and versatile material, ideal for model making, craft work, DIY projects, signs and furniture design. Each acrylic sheet is crystal clear and scratch resistant making it a brilliant alternative to glass.
Perspex acrylic is safe to use on laser cutters and engravers; please note that each sheet comes coated with a thin protective film on each side, this film must be removed to reveal the crystal clear property of the material, however we recommend leaving this film on whilst laser cutting and engraving to protect the surfaces from being damaged during production.
Perspex acrylic can be UV printed, as the material is transparent the print can be seen from both sides which creates an awesome effect. We recommend using an adhesion promoter when printing on clear acrylic. Acrylic is water resistant however, if the acrylic has been UV printed we don't recommend putting it through a dishwasher as the print can get damaged, we always recommend to hand wash only.
