Our Laser Safe MDF is a versatile material which can be used for a number of different applications, including but not limited to: model making, crafts projects and furniture design. Please note that this material is not moisture resistant and therefore not suitable for outdoor applications without a moisture resistant treatment/coating.
As this product conforms to E1 formaldehyde levels, as well as complying with the lower levels required by CARB phase 2 (CARB Phase 2 compliant <0.11ppm), we believe it is the best and safest MDF to use on laser cutters and engravers.
As wood is a natural product the sheets can bow or twist, we always recommend storing these MDF sheets laid flat and stacked on top of each other, they should also be kept in an environment with low humidity levels. If using this material on a laser cutter / engraver then we recommend strapping or taping warped sheets to the machine bed.
Our laser safe MDF is available in various thicknesses and ISO sheet sizes, just select the thickness from the dropdown below and then select the required sheet size.
The thicknesses and sheet sizes displayed are our cores lines which will always be available and usually in stock. However, if the size or thickness you require isn't displayed then please get in touch with the size details and quantity and we'll be happy to provide a quote for you.
